ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
The Economic Development Advisory Committee is a board of nine residents and business owners who research and advise the Borough Council on matters related to economic development in Bound Brook. Since it was established in May 2007, the EDAC has made recommendations on uses for the train station building, reviewed recent revisions to the Borough's Redevelopment Plan, participataed in a charette by a visiting Downtown Business Assessment Team, re-established the downtown Facade Improvement Grants Program, and developed and proposed a new sign ordinance.

Currently, the EDAC is working with a grant from the NJ Department of Community Affairs to develop a Transit-Oriented Design Plan for the eastern area of the downtown district. The consultant for the project is the Regional Plan Association.

The EDAC meets the second Monday of each month.
